Resolving gel buffer (4X)
Dissolve 181.5 g of Tris base in 850 mL of H2O and adjust pH to 8.8 with 6 M HCl. Cool the solution to room temperature and readjust pH to 8.8. Add H2O to 1000 mL and store at 4°C.
The final solution is 1.5 M Tris-Cl at pH 8.8.
