Yeast Extract–Peptone–Dextrose (YPD) Medium (Liquid or Solid)

Reagent Quantity
Yeast extract 10 g
Peptone 20 g
Dextrose 20 g
Agar (for plates only) 20 g
Dissolve reagents in 1 L of distilled water. Autoclave for 20 min at 121°C and 0.5 bar. Store for several weeks at room temperature.
